Temporary Prohibition of Motor Vehicles Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made
the above Order dated 17th January 2022 in exercise
of its powers under 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit
the use by motor vehicles over an area of highway being
A39 Between Poundfield Lane And Skitches Corner, A39
Between Stone Hill And Poundfield Lane, A39 Between
Old Kilkhampton Road And Stone Hill, A39 Between
Brentspool Hill And Old Kilkhampton Road, Brentspool
Hill Bude for their entire lengths, and A39 Between
Labernum Terrace And Brentspool Hill Bude between
the junction for East Road and the junction for Access To
The Old Rectory. The Council is satisfied that the Order is
needed because road maintenance and gully works are
being executed on or near the road.
The Order will come into operation on 31st January 2022
and the works are expected to be completed by the 5th
February 2022. The prohibition will be in force between
the hours of 1900 and 0600 on a daily basis, weekends
included.
Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services,
bus traffic, school buses, cyclists, traffic associated with
the works required within the highway specified above,
any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker
in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and
anything done with the permission of or at the discretion
of a police officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to
residents and businesses will be maintained.

make the above Order in exercise of its powers under
Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by
motor vehicles over an area of highway being Road From
Week Green To Highmoor Holsworthy between grid
references SX2374797091 and SX2469696353. The
Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because
paling and cabling works are being executed on or near
the road.
The Order will come into operation on 14th February
2022 and the works are expected to be completed by
the 18th February 2022. The prohibition will be in force
between the hours of 0930 and 1530 on a daily basis,
weekdays only.
Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services,
bus traffic, school buses, cyclists, traffic associated with
the works required within the highway specified above,
any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker
in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and

in the Parish of Bude-Stratton between grid references

in the Parish of Bude-Stratton between grid references
5S2074506109 and S52075106080. The Council is
satisfied that the Order is needed because flood defence
works are being executed on or near the road.
The Order will come into operation on 1st February 2022
and the works are expected to be completed by the 1st
May 2022. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day,
weekends included.

the Order is needed because works are being executed
