The County of Cornwall (Looe) (On-Street Parking Places and Restrictions on

Waiting) (Amendment) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cornwall Council proposes to make the above Order

to regulate traffic in Looe. The effect of this is to introduce, and amend existing,

restrictions on waiting along the lengths of road described below.

Copies of the relevant documents are available for public inspection during

normal office hours at Reception, New County Hall, Treyew Road, Truro, TR1 3AY.

Comments of support, objections or any other representations, must be sent in

writing, with objections specifying the grounds on which they are made, to Cormac

5EH. Any representations must be received no later than 25 May 2022. Please

Hotel; Station Road next to Riverbank Car Park; West Looe Square (northern

spur) between junctions with Quay Road and Princes Square (northern spur).

Barbican Hill at various points from junction with Barbican Road to point south of

Sunny Harbour/Harbour Cottage; Barbican Road at junction with Bodrigan Road;

Bay View Road south of junction with Barbican Road/ Barbican Hill; Church Street

(West Looe) at junction with Fore Street; Downs Road east of access to cemetery;

Marine Drive at junction with Portuan Road (south-west spur); North Road outside

Harbour Lodge and north of junction with Bass Hill; Princes Square (northern

spur) sections throughout its length; Quay Road outside Portbyhan Hotel; West

Looe Square (northern spur) outside Looe Fire Station; West Looe Square

(southern spur) from Looe Fire Station to junction with Hannafore Road.

Princes Street at junction with Quay Road; Quay Road at junction with Princes

Street.

No waiting between 1 May and 30 Sept

Barbican Hill south-west of junction with St Winnolls Park and south of Sunny

Harbour/Harbour Cottage; Downs Road west of junction with The Downs.

No waiting 9am-6pm between 1 May and 30 Sept

Downs Road west of West Downs Court.

Quay Road outside Portbyhan Hotel.

Limited waiting 9am-6pm 1 hour no return within 3 hours
