Temporary Closure of Mart Road

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Mart Road - from 48 metres north of the junction with Vulcan Rad, northwards for a distance of 110 metres.

This Order will enable BT Openreach to carry out ducting works.

The Order becomes effective on 20 May 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 26 May 2022 and last until 27 May 2022 between the hours of 21:00 - 06:00 for a total of 9 hours.
