NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER

(PUBLIC FOOTPATH BA20/1, PRISTON HILL, PRISTON)

PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2022

On 21st April 2022, the Bath and North East Somerset Council confirmed the above bathorder made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.

The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the section of public footpath BA20/1 running from grid reference ST69796063 and proceeding in a generally NNE direction for approx 6m to ST69796064 and turning in a generally WNW direction for approx 9m to ST69796064 and turning in a generally NNE direction for approx 62m to ST69816070 and turning in a generally E direction for approx 6m to ST69826070 and turning in a generally N direction for approx 45m to ST69826074 to a line running from ST69796063 and proceeding in a generally WNW direction for approx 12m to ST69786064 and turning in a generally N direction for approx 102m to ST69816074 and turning in a generally ENE direction for approx 15m to ST69826074, as shown on the order map.

The order comes into force on 5th May 2022 but if any person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act

has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from the date of this notice, make an application to the High Court.
