Temporary Closure of Bampton Street

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Bampton Street - from the junction with Quirke Street, southwards for a distnace of 30 metres. This Order will enable BT Openreach to carry out works to install cable and duct.

The Order becomes effective on 24th June 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 28th June 2022 and last until 30th June 2022 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days.
