Temporary Closure of

Dragons Cross To Old Cleeve, Lower Bilbrook Lane

to Old Cleeve Farm and Old Cleeve to Blue Anchor

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Dragons Cross To Old Cleeve - from the junction with Minehead to Williton Road to the junction with Bilbrook Lane; Lower Bilbrook Lane to Old Cleeve Farm - from the junction with Bilbrook Lane to the junction with Monks Path; and Old Cleeve to Blue Anchor - from the junction with Monks Path, northwards for 413 metres for a total distance of 1559 metres. This Order will enable Barden Network Engineering to install new fibre cabling on behalf of BT Openreach.

The Order becomes effective on 17th June 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 22nd June 2022 and last until 27th June 2022 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 6 days (excluding weekend)

a) because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road; or

b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works.
