Temporary Closure of Church Street

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Church Street - from the junction with Forge Cottages, southwards for a distance of 110 metres.

This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out works to Repair/Replace Cover and Frame.

The Order becomes effective on 24th June 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 29th June 2022 and last until 30th June 2022 between the hours of 07:00 - 15:30 for a total of 2 days.
