Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to

make the above Order in exercise of its powers under

Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by

traffic over an area of highway being Road From The

B3253 At St Euny To Holland Farm, Widegates between

the junction of Holland Road and B3253 between

Bindown Court to Junction South of Clease Vean. The

Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because

poling works are being executed on or near the road.

The Order will come into operation on 16th August 2022

and the works are expected to be completed by the 16th

August 2022. The prohibition will be in force between the

hours of 0930 and 1600.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with

the works required within the highway specified above,

any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker

in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and

anything done with the permission of or at the discretion

of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and

businesses will be maintained.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made

the above Order dated 18th July 2022 in exercise of its

powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit

the use by traffic over an area of highway being Barn Hill

Polbathic between grid references SX234397:057873

and SX234420:057816. The Council is satisfied that the

Order is needed because bridge examination works are

being executed on or near the road.

The Order will come into operation on 2nd August 2022

and the works are expected to be completed by the 3rd

August 2022. The prohibition will be in force between the

hours of 22:00 and 06:00 hours.

Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services,

cyclists, traffic associated with the works required within

the highway specified above, any vehicle being used

for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency,

such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with

the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

traffic over an area of highway being Gipsy Lane, Liskeard

for its entire length, Allen Vale, Liskeard between the

junction of Woodgate Road and Gipsy Lane. The Council

is satisfied that the Order is needed because works

are being executed on or near the road to carry out

carriageway repair.

The Order will come into operation on 15th August 2022

and the works are expected to be completed by the 19th

August 2022. The prohibition will be in force between the

hours of 0730 and 1700 on a daily basis, weekdays only.

Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services,

traffic associated with the works required within the

highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the

purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss

of utility supplies and anything done with the permission

Goad Avenue Torpoint for its entire length. The Council

is satisfied that the Order is needed because works

are being executed on or near the road to carry out

carriageway surface repairs.

The Order will come into operation on 4th August 2022

and the works are expected to be completed by the 19th

August 2022. The prohibition will be in force between the

hours of 0730 and 1700 on a daily basis, weekdays only.

Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made

the above Order dated 18th July 2022 in exercise of its

powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose

a temporary speed restriction of 10 MPH over an area of

highway being Launceston Road, Callington between

the properties known as 2 Hurldown and The Birches for

approximately 133 metres. The Council is satisfied that

the Order is needed because patching works are being

executed on or near the road.

The Order will come into operation on 1st August 2022

and the works are expected to be completed by the 2nd

August 2022. The restriction will be in force between the

hours of 09:30 and 16:00 on a daily basis, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made

the above Order dated 18th July 2022 in exercise of its

powers under 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the

use by motor vehicles over an area of highway being

Richmond Road, Pelynt, between the properties known as

29 and 38 Richmond Road. The Council is satisfied that

the Order is needed because blockage clearing works are

being executed on or near the road.

The Order will come into operation on 1st August 2022

and the works are expected to be completed by the 3rd

August 2022. The prohibition will be in force between the

hours of 08:00 and 18:00 on a daily basis, weekdays only.

Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services,

cyclists, traffic associated with the works required within

the highway specified above, any vehicle being used

for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency,

make the above Order in exercise of its powers under

South Of Trelake To Gilcrest Rilla Mill between grid

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because

water maintenance works are being executed on or near

The Order will come into operation on 11th August 2022

and the works are expected to be completed by the 15th

August 2022. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a

day, weekends included.
