Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above
Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to
prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being A39 Between
Poundfield Lane And Skitches Corner, Stratton, Bude, A39 Between
Stone Hill And Poundfield Lane, Stratton, Bude, A39 Between Old
Kilkhampton Road And Stone Hill, Bush, Bude, A39 Between Brentspool
Hill And Old Kilkhampton Road, Kilkhampton, Bude, Brentspool Hill,
Kilkhampton, Bude for their enitre lengths, A39 Between Labernum
Terrace And Brentspool Hill, Kilkhampton, Bude between the junction of
East Road and Access to The Old Rectory.
The Order will come into operation on 23rd August 2022 and the works
are expected to be completed by the 24th August 2022. The prohibition
will be in force from 1900 hours on the 23rd August 2022 and continue
until 0600 hours on the 24th August 2022, weekdays only.The Council
is satisfied that the Order is needed to carry out an Ash Die Back
inspection.
Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services, bus traffic,
school buses, cyclists, traffic associated with the works required within
the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes
of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and
anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police
officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will
be maintained.

Road, Launceston between grid references SX2948776927 and
SX2952977088. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed to
undertake a new water connection.
The Order will come into operation on 22nd August 2022 and the works
are expected to be completed by the 26th August 2022. The prohibition
will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.
Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services, cyclists, traffic
associated with the works required within the highway specified
above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an
emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the

From Vicarage Lane To New Mills Road, Bude between grid references
SX2018699431 and SX2022499342. The Council is satisfied that the
Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road
to carry out a new water connection.
The Order will come into operation on 22nd August 2022 and the works
are expected to be completed by the 26th August 2022. The prohibition
will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.
Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works
required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for
the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility
supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion
of a police officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and
businesses will be maintained.
