Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made

the above Order dated 1st August 2022 in exercise of its

powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit

the use by traffic over an area of highway being Oak Lane

Holsworthy between grid references SX226420:098558

and SX 226373:098730 and Green Lane Whitstone

between grid references SX226373:098733 and

SX226436:098724. The Council is satisfied that

the Order is needed because poling works are being

executed on or near the road.

The Order will come into operation on 11th August 2022

and the works are expected to be completed by the 11th

August 2022. The prohibition will be in force between the

hours of 0800 and 1600.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with

the works required within the highway specified above,

any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker

in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and

anything done with the permission of or at the discretion

of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and

businesses will be maintained.

Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made

the above order dated 1st August 2022 in exercise of its

powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose

a temporary speed restriction of 40MPH over an area

of highway being Road From Junction North East Of

Lawhitton To Lawhitton Down Lawhitton between grid

references SX235199:082157 and SX235132:082137

for approximately 112metres and Lawhitton Down

Lawhitton between grid references SX235069:082225

and SX235191:082004 for approximately 234metres.

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because

survey works are being executed on or near the road.

The Order will come into operation on 18th August 2022

and the works are expected to be completed by the 18th

August 2022. The restriction will be in force between the

hours of 0930 and 1530.

use by traffic over an area of highway being Road From

South View To Serpells Meadow, Launceston between

grid references SX2641182240 and SX2670982318.

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because

poling and cabling works are being executed on or near

the road.

The Order will come into operation on 18th August 2022

and the works are expected to be completed by the 19th

August 2022. The prohibition will be in force between the

hours of 0930 and 1530 on a daily basis, weekdays only.

Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services,

school buses, cyclists, traffic associated with the works

required within the highway specified above, any

vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker

in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and

anything done with the permission of or at the discretion

of a police officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to

residents and businesses will be maintained.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made

the above Order dated 1st August 2022 in exercise of its

powers under 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use

by traffic over an area of highway being Station Hill,

Launceston between the junction of Tregeare Road and

the property known as The Old Station. The Council is

satisfied that the Order is needed because drainage

works are being executed on or near the road.

The Order will come into operation on 15th August 2022

and the works are expected to be completed by the 17th

August 2022. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a

day, weekends included.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with

the works required within the highway specified above,

any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker

in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and

anything done with the permission of or at the discretion

of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and

businesses will be maintained.

by traffic over an area of highway being Road From Week

Green To Highmoor, Holsworthy between grid references

SX2386996870 and SX2422796663. The Council is

satisfied that the Order is needed because works are

being executed on or near the road to carry out a new

water connection.

The Order will come into operation on 15th August 2022

and the works are expected to be completed by the 19th

August 2022. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a

day, weekdays only.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with

the works required within the highway specified above,

any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker

in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and

anything done with the permission of or at the discretion

of a police officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to

residents and businesses will be maintained.
