DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL

(BYWAY No. 14, CHIVELSTONE (PART))

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2022

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.

From: FRIDAY, 29th JULY 2022

To: SATURDAY, 28th JANUARY 2023

No persons shall proceed on the section of the affected path except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of path. The order will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.

Public right of way affected: Byway No. 14, Chivelstone for the part between the access to Prawle Point Cottages and the South West Coast Path. The alternative route for pedestrians is via the nearby National Trust car park, and their Permissive

Path link to the Coast Path. There is no alternative route for other users. The closure is necessary due to extensive wash-out of the Byway following a

severe storm event.
