NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION
Highways Act 1980
WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL (BRIDLEWAY NO.6, UGBOROUGH)
PUBLIC PATH AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND
STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2022
Notice is hereby given that, no representations or objections having been received, Devon County Council has confirmed the above Order on 1st August 2022 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981 as unopposed. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by diverting Bridleway No.6, Ugborough from a line across the cricket ground and fishing lake to a line around the east of the cricket pitch and fishing lake to re-join the bridleway north of Wadland Wood.
A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge at the Public Rights of Way Service, Great Moor House, Bittern Road, Sowton, Exeter, at the Ivybridge Town Council Offices, Erme Court, Leonard Rd, Ivybridge, PL210SZ by appointmentwith the Clerk to the Town Council between 10.00am and 4pm Monday to Friday and online at www.devon.gov.uk/haveyoursay A copy of the Order and map may be bought at Great Moor House at the price of £5.00. The Order comes into force on the 8th August 2022, but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highway Act 1980 as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or any of the regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, they may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the date of this notice make an application to the High Court.
