THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY

RESTRICTION) (SOUTH TOWN & NEWCOMEN

ROAD, DARTMOUTH) ORDER 2022

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 7/9/22 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 20/9/22. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads. Roads affected: SOUTH TOWN & NEWCOMEN ROAD, DARTMOUTH, OUTSIDE DERWENT LODGE - OUTSIDE NUMBER 1 The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - FAIRFAX PLACE, THE QUAY, MAYORS AVENUE, NORTH EMBANKMENT, COLLEGE WAY, TOWNSTAL ROAD, YORKE ROAD, WATERPOOL ROAD, SMITH STREET, ROAD FROM TOLGATE COTTAGE TO DEADMANS CROSS, A379 THE RIDGES TO DARTMOUTH ROAD, WEEKE HILL, ROAD FROM BRANDARIS TO WEEKE HILL, ROAD FROM SWANNATON ROAD TO BRANDARIS. This temporary

restriction is considered necessary to enable: EXCAVATE TO CLEAR BLOCKAGES / EXCAVATE TO LAY DUCT / DESILTING / CABLING.
