Temporary Closure of Bampton Street

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Bampton Street - from the junction with West Street southwards for a distance of 35 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out works to repair a dry hydrant.

The Order becomes effective on 6th May 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 9th May 2022 and last until 13th May 2022 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
