Temporary Prohibition of Motor Vehicles Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made

the above Order dated 9th May 2022 in exercise of its

powers under 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use

by motor vehicles over an area of highway being Higher

Lux Street Liskeard between the junction for Greenbank

Lane and the junction for Victoria Close. The Council is

satisfied that the Order is needed because cabling works

are being executed on or near the road.

The Order will come into operation on 23rd May 2022 and

the works are expected to be completed by the 25th May

2022. The prohibition will be in force between the hours

of 0930 and 1600 on a daily basis, weekdays only.

Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services,

cyclists, traffic associated with the works required within

the highway specified above, any vehicle being used

for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency,

such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with

the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and

businesses will be maintained.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to

make the above Order in exercise of its powers under

Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by

traffic over an area of highway being Belle Vue Road

Saltash between number 18 Belle Vue Road and the

junction of Fore Street. The Council is satisfied that the

Order is needed because works are being executed on or

near the road to carryout junction alignment works.

The Order will come into operation on 6th June 2022

and the works are expected to be completed by the 17th

June 2022.The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day,

weekends included.

Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services,

bus traffic, school buses, cyclists, traffic associated with

the works required within the highway specified above,

any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker

in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and

anything done with the permission of or at the discretion

of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and

businesses will be maintained.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends

to make the above order in exercise of its powers under

section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary

speed restriction of 40MPH over an area of highway

being Church Lane, St Mellion between grid references

SX238547:065951 and SX238531:065980, Road

From A388 Vernigo Cross Roundabout To Junction

South Of Mushton, St Mellion between grid references

SX238561:065996 and SX238472:065977 and Road

From Dunstan Lane To The Crossroads At Horsepool,

St Mellion between grid references SX238470:066016

and SX238500:065978. The Council is satisfied that the

Order is needed because gully works are being executed

on or near the road.

The Order will come into operation on 7th June 2022 and

the works are expected to be completed by the 7th June

2022. The restriction will be in force between the hours of

0930 and 1400.

The Order will come into operation on 1st June 2022 and

the works are expected to be completed by the 1st June

2022. The prohibition will be in force from 0930 hours

and continue until 1500 hours, weekdays only.

Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services,

school buses, cyclists, traffic associated with the works

required within the highway specified above, any vehicle

being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an

emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything

done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police
