(Temporary 7.5t Weight Limit) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that on 6th day of May 2022 Somerset County Council made the above Order in exercise of the provisions of Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as previously advertised on the 29th day of April 2022, to introduce a temporary 7.5t Weight Limit in the road specified in the Schedule below.

The works are expected to commence on the 17th day of April 2022 until the 30th day of September 2023 and the restrictions will only apply when indicated by traffic signs.

A copy of the draft Temporary Traffic Regulation Order and the associated plans can be examined at www.somerset.gov.uk/TRO.

Temporary 7.5t Weight Limit

B3191 Cleeve Hill, Watchet – From a point 290 metres west of its junction with Lorna Doone for a distance of 120 metres in a south westerly direction.

Statement of reasons for making the Order

a) because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road

b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to

such works.
